Thought you might want to see that in Hebrew:

Torah תּוֹרָה
Avodah עֲבוֹדָה
Gimilut hasadim גְמִילוּת חֲסָדִים

What is TAGH?

I decided to blog my progress toward my bar mitzvah. For those of you who don't know, a bar mitzvah means "A son's blessing" in Hebrew ("bat mitzvah" is "a daughter's blessing" if you're a girl).  What it means is, you're becoming a grown-up (hurrah!). Well, not exactly a full-on grown-up, but grown-up in the sense of knowing about the Jewish religion. It's a journey--a journey I'll be taking in the next couple of years.  And you make the journey by taking steps.

What kind of steps?  TAGH steps, that's what kind of steps.  TAGH is my abbreviation for:
Torah,
Avodah, and
Gimilut Hasadim

Torah means "learning" in Hebrew, here it means learning about Jewish religion and culture.  Avodah means "work" or "practice," and it means how you live as a spiritual person.
Gimilut Hasadim means "the giving of loving kindness." It's when you help other people and the environment.

So that's TAGH.
